Semester 1 Reflection

The quality of my images has improved more from the images that i had taken last year. I think my pictures are a lot more on topic and have better subjects within the picture being taken. The assignments i try and think of in advance to what im going to do so i have more than one idea when i actually go out to shoot. The resolution of my images has also gotten better now that i try and use an actual camera, rather than using my phone. I try and always have my work done on time or before its due so i don't have assignments building up on each other. As for going beyond the first idea i think i do try and go beyond it and try and switch it up. 

My effort has for sure gotten better. I always try and take good pictures with good quality. I try and look for the best location of to where i can take my pictures, it all depends on what the assignment is about. I put in some effort but nit as much as i would like to. I plan out when and where im going to take my images but sometimes i dont always have a strong idea of what i should take a picture of. I try and take more pictures than needed just so i can get the best one but like said before it depends on the assignment. All the pictures i take aren't the most difficult to take but i do tend to give up on the ideas that i come up with because i may not have what i need to take the pictures. I always try and have a positive attitude when going to take pictures because, if not then i will probably not want to do it. 

My participation is alright as i'm always on time for class. Working through the whole block i don't really do, do to the fact that i usually finish the assignments before they are do. I always am working idependently with the hand of some help if i don't know how to do something that i'm unsure about. Ummmmm for staying on task sometimes i get a little caught up dancing or singing but, when i need to get something done i do it. 

My improvement has gotten better overtime. I think i still need to find my style because i really don't have one but if i were i would want it to be simplistic. To improve technically i think i should always use the camera i have just so i can get the best images possible. For my composition, i think that is good because i always a slight idea. I could for sure work on the image being more appealing. My confidence isn't really that high because i always feel that the pictures turn out to be bad. My concepts are strong but i don't seem to always achieve them to how i want. 

In the second semester im going to try and always stay on task and also try and think of more conceptual ideas. I would like to step out and explore more types of photography and try and achieve something that i may want to really instead of just not doing it. 

As assignment that i would like to do would have to do with simplicity but also it being creative in a sense. Im not quite sure how to explain it but ya.
