The quality of my images has improved more from the images that i had taken last year. I think my pictures are a lot more on topic and have better subjects within the picture being taken. The assignments i try and think of in advance to what im going to do so i have more than one idea when i actually go out to shoot. The resolution of my images has also gotten better now that i try and use an actual camera, rather than using my phone. I try and always have my work done on time or before its due so i don't have assignments building up on each other. As for going beyond the first idea i think i do try and go beyond it and try and switch it up.  My effort has for sure gotten better. I always try and take good pictures with good quality. I try and look for the best location of to where i can take my pictures, it all depends on what the assignment is about. I put in some effort but nit as much as i would like to. I plan out when and where im going to take my images but sometimes i do...

Contrast- This piece portrays contrast because the whiteness of the lights and the ceiling above the gas pumps. The lights also give off a cool effect. 

Contrast- This is contrast because one flower is darker than the other and the background is darker than both of the flowers, making the flowers pop out more in the picture.
